Woodworking engraving machine replacement spindle head tool change

In a CNC engraving machine with rotation, replacing the spindle head is a relatively simple tool change method. The spindle head usually has two types, horizontal and vertical, and the index of the transfer tower is often used to replace the spindle head to realize automatic tool change. The woodworking engraving machine first installs the rotation required for each process on each spindle head of the turret. When the tool change command is issued, the spindle heads are sequentially turned to the machining position, and the main motion is switched, so that the corresponding spindle is driven. Rotating, while other spindles in the unmachined position are disengaged from the main motion.

The automatic tool change system with tool magazine is composed of tool magazine and exchange mechanism. At present, it is a widely used tool change method on multi-process CNC woodworking engraving machine. The whole tool change process is more complicated. Firstly, all the different tools needed in the process are installed separately. On the standard shank, after dimension adjustment outside the machine, put it into the tool magazine in a certain way. When changing the tool, the tool is selected in the tool magazine first, and the device is taken out from the tool magazine and the spindle, and exchanged. After that, the new spindle will be loaded and the old one will be put back into the magazine. This method can carry out a variety of complex process processing, especially in CNC drilling machines, CNC milling machines and CNC trampolines.
